Optimizing Sales Performance.

How Can a Business Directory Help in Generating Sales Leads?

For any business, generating quality sales leads has always been a challenge. It is the responsibility of every business to generate their sales leads. The traditional methods of sales lead generation are not as effective as they use to be; therefore it has caused many businesses to come up with other methods of generating leads. One such method companies are now engaging in is submitting their business listing to online business directories

Getting your website listed at the top of search engines such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo, is essential to generating sales leads because most people will use a major search engine to locate a business. When you list your business to quality online business directories for a nominal fee, search engines will index your listings resulting in a higher ranking of your business website. This will make your site easier to find. Someone searching for a particular product or service will click on a site that is listed on a first page of search engine results. People using search engines to locate a business are second in acquiring leads with referrals being number one. Listing on business directories is part of website optimization to increase one’s search engine ranking. With so much access to computers and the internet these days, the chances of having internet access when you need to look up a business listing is greater so online business directories have become an even more effective look up tool than listing in traditional phone book directories, as well as cheaper.

The number of people using the internet for local searches has significantly increased making the use of online business directories an essential component of generating sales leads. Quality online business directories offer many services that traditional directories do not provide such as enhanced listings, listings in more than one category, paid premium listings, and enhancement of your listing to include targeted keywords allowing more people to find your business, and an increase in search engine rankings. It is important that you have a professional website that will appeal to visitors.

There are online business directories that allow one to keep track of their visitors with an online tracking site. It allows a business to properly invest their advertising dollars and assess the effectiveness of their online directory listing. You can also list your business in industry-specific business online directories which reaches your targeted consumer. This allows customers to narrow down their search and gives your business a better placement in the directory.

With the development of the internet, competition for sales leads has increased significantly. High search engine rankings will make sure that your business has increased traffic and visibility. Search engine rank is determined by the number of inbound links to a website. Online business directories have become a vital part in generating leads in this new technology dependent world. A business will spread the word about their company, increase their ranking in the search engines, attract more targeted visitors, and the result will be a strong increase in quality sales leads.

The Phenomena of Sales Leads

December 17th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By John Le Papillon

Each and every business is operated with an intention of earning profit. Business directly relates to sales and purchases. Sales mean selling of goods and services which helps in bringing the availability of cash or any other consideration. Sales play an important role in increasing the profits of any business. Higher the sales mean greater chances of acquiring high profits. Therefore each and every business, entity, companies etc try to boost their sales by various methods such as advertising, marketing, through internet, websites etc. Sales leads are processes through which clients or potential customers are targeted to gather interest on their products and thereby try to increase or generate more sales opportunities. These leads are types of marketing process which are encouraged to boost sales or it can also be said that sales will be very low without marketing efforts.

Developing, planning, executing and implementing proper sales leads should be the main aim of the business to boosts their sales and thus increase their profits. Such leads are gaining importance day by day as all the companies and businesses are aiming to earn reputation and goodwill with proper focus on increasing profits. With the increase in globalization many companies are trying to promote their products all round the world. They are also trying to implement lots of techniques involved in such leads so that they can benefit from this process. With such cut throat competition in the market even the multi national companies are having a tough time to attract customers.

As the taste, nature, trend, fashion etc of the people residing in various country changes, more and more variety of products are introduced in the market by various companies to meet the needs and requirements of the people. To fulfill these needs many business or companies introduce huge amount of funds or capital in marketing and advertising variety of products manufactured by them. Hence to promote and increase the sales of these products in the market the procedure of sales leads is implemented. These procedures if followed properly can help the business in reaching new heights. This lead is advantageous to all the business concerns if it is implemented properly because it saves plenty of time and resources.

One of the examples of implementing sales leads is quoted below; in earlier times marketing was done by door-to-door sales, then the concept of advertisements in radios and televisions came into light, later on retail sales through internet was implemented. In this example one can see that as the nature of the market is changing very quickly, new and new methods are also adopted by the companies according to the market conditions. There are innumerable ways through which one can gather leads for example placing an advertisement on internet, friends and relatives can also help in increasing leads and many more. In short the process of leads is carried out to withstand the ever increasing competition in the market and to gain more and more profits. Thus the sales lead phenomena helps in increasing the profit base.

What Does Free Business Sales Leads Have To Do With It?

December 17th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By Kirsten Plotkin

Looking for an internet business is a lot like driving down the only road in town, to find nothing but billboards.  You quickly get caught up in programs and systems like MLM’s, affiliate marketing, blogging and a dozen other temptations.

All of them promise to make you rich.  All you have to do is buy this program or that system, follow the step by step instructions and go for your life.  The two things none of them stress, is the importance of getting genuine business sales leads and converting them to sales.  Once you have figured out the product, those things will just happen, in some vague way, to do with ‘traffic’. All you have to do is learn the program.

Traffic, or the more popular expression; a list,  is code for; this does not mean actual leads, but it is vague and sounds easy to do and it will not focus a prospect on how they are going to get sales. You see, traffic in itself is meaningless it is a list of email addresses, in line with a list of names from a phone book.  The only traffic that counts is business sales leads because they are at least people who are likely to buy your product. That is, if you have something of genuine value to sell them.

If you are reading this, and you do have some business experience you are thinking; well, so far this is all very obvious!

But that is probably just before you stop to realize that a large percentage of newcomers to the internet have had zero experience in business. Even those who have had some offline experience tend to think that an online business is in a completely different category where different rules apply.  They are of course encouraged to hold this belief by every hot shot marketer they run into.  In any case, how many dud products did you buy before you found your feet?

Sure a list is important, but only if it is a list of genuine Business Sales Leads. Offline or online, the formula to success is the same. Your focus has to be on: No.1. customers=leads.  No.2. Sales.  You will get sales as long as you concentrate on customers=leads.

Everything else that goes on in a business will involve one of those two things. In the real world it is a lot easier to have clarity about that because there is rent to pay and staff to manage, shelves to stock and nobody seems to come through the door.

It doesn’t matter whether you are in a real world business, or you are doing your best to make it online, you cannot afford to lose sight of those two priorities.  Get a scratch pad and keep it on your desktop and etch those two words into it in bold letters and never lose sight of your main aim because just about everyone you bump into online will try to take your focus away from it and put it wherever THEY need it to be.

People always know what they want they just do not always know what they need.  It takes tenacity and persistence and patience to learn a new craft. To be able to stay single minded and ignore the sparkling temptations along the way.  The less experience we have, the more our WANTS are likely to be out of sync with our NEEDS.

In the real world, very few, if any people go into a business they do not understand.  Online, almost everybody starts out with a business they have little if any clues about. Often it is a business no one can profit from except the person you buy it from.  Your chance to profit from a business you do not understand is nil.  The trick here is to realize that if you do not understand it, you should not buy it…Ever!

Well before you spend the money you need to ask yourself; who besides me, is going to fall in love with this product?  How and where do I find people like me who will buy this on just my recommendation, when I don’t understand it myself?  If you don’t consider these questions before you buy you have likely done your money and wasted a lot of valuable time.

Even on the internet, business knowledge is essential and knowing and believing in your product is a given.  All skills can be learned, including business, but only by those prepared to take the time to learn.

That is why those two little words; Leads and Sales, are so important.  They keep you focused on the main game.  They lead you to the things you need to learn and they help you make the right choices.  They will ultimately drive you to succeed.

Doing business on the internet is as easy or difficult as doing business in the real world.  It takes energy, determination consistency and a commitment to learn the business. It is not easy for me to say these things, I started with business experience offline, yet, like most people, I too lost focus and made mistakes.  If someone was to ask me today ‘what is your dream product?’ I would say, I have a few great products, but I have only one dream product, and ironically, I found it just a few weeks ago.

For the first time in two years I am totally confident that I will achieve my goals.  It may not be the same for you.  For whatever reason, it seems all of us must go through some crazy ordeal of suffering, a trial by fire perhaps, before we get to where we can make a real income. You may still be going through that, or perhaps it is still ahead.

Unfortunately everybody seems to have gone through it, I am just so happy it is in my past.  I have found a place that totally satisfies my two priorities. I get an endless supply of business sales leads which takes care of my no.1 priority.

I have unlimited websites which include hosting and that is taking care of my no.2 priority and the strangest thing of all is that I’m cash neutral on cost because I have been able to replace my expensive auto-responder and webhost with superior products that do not cost me a dime extra.  That’s without mentioning a few other huge advantages I suddenly possess.

So it has been a big win for me on both counts and I can cross out my scratch list items for good.  I wish for you what I have found for myself, an easier life, with a lot more income and some real joy in whatever you do.

How to Generate Quality Sales Leads and Milk Every Last Dime from Them

December 16th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By John Le Papillon

We all know the words sales leads and we all understand what horrible experiences can come from trying to generate sales leads. However we need to have them to make our business flourish. So what do we do to have a better experience and to lead those millions of internet surfers to our sites every day?

Finding ways to get leads are not as hard as they seem. I mean after all we all have some creativity in us. You just follow these few steps and you can have a great start to generating massive sales leads:

1. Learn All you can about your prospects: If you are targeting a certain industry or niche you need to make sure that your sales leads are all in your target area. Learn what ever you can about the type of people who will be buying your products or services. Know what they don’t like about the other guys and make sure you don’t do it!

2. Look for interesting and new information: Finding constant information will provide variety. It will allow your potential leads the opportunity to visit your site again.

3. Provide your leads with interactive information on your site: People enjoy toying around on sites. They want to be able to try things they might like, adding visuals is a plus also, how the template is formatted and the color stand out will have a big impact on whether or not they will stay on the site long enough to read your first sentence!

4. Understand your potential leads: When generating sales leads you must know the ins and outs of your product or service as well as your lead. Learn and watch the personalities of your leads, and the moods. What the potential leads like and dislike this will give you a great advantage.

5. Learn to talk: You must learn how to talk. Practice the sales pitch you would give someone about you product. Though it sounds funny now it will keep you from getting tripped up by your lead. This could be bad for your business and be the thing that keeps you lead from coming back!

6. Network with other organizations in your niche: Learn first hand what others are doing. Ask them questions on how they got started and found sales leads. Don’t worry about what they will think after all they were a newbie once too!

If you learn to master your niche you will learn to master the people! If you pay attention to what they are telling you, what the traffic is telling you and what you absorb each day! This will help you become prepared for all that lies ahead! Don’t let anything discourage you, we all know too well how hard it is to drive traffic and leads to your page. To cold call the business and talk to the man that really doesn’t want to be here and really doesn’t want to talk with you! We understand the struggles that lie ahead but with persistence you can achieve your goals in no time!

Your focus of your page should be strictly to capture the email address of the user. You can use special types of pop ups which capture the real email address of your visitor. Of course they must agree to this and even better they should confirm their email address making the leads a confirmed opt in leads. This is the best type of lead because they have expressly shown interest.

Qualifying Technology Sales Leads

December 16th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By Rich Bendall

In IT and technology sales not all leads generated have the potential to become completed sales.  A lead is not a guarantee it is simply an indication that a sale may happen.  The process of determining if a lead is likely to become a sale is known as qualifying the lead.  Taking the time to qualify sales leads is an important first step in any technology sales process.

There are many reasons why a sales lead may not have the potential to become an actual prospect.  For example the company in question may have already bought a similar product from a competitor and so will have no need to make a new purchase.  Other reasons may include a lack of financial capacity to buy, the contact not having the necessary authority to approve the purchase or it may just be that the prospect cannot be contacted.

Sales lead qualification is the process of filtering through the leads to find the ones that have a genuine possibility of becoming a sale.  To be successful in qualifying sales leads the salesperson needs to be asking the right questions to their prospects.  Of course the right questions will vary according to the type of product or service being sold but in general the salesperson may find it useful to think in terms of who, where, when and why?  For example questions to ask may include - Who has the most obvious need for the product? Where can new prospects be found?  When is the best time to contact the prospect?  Why would the prospect be interested in buying the product?

If the prospect has been found to have the need, authority and finances to make the purchase then they can be considered to be a qualified lead.   By focusing more on the quality of leads rather than quantity sales teams are able to work more effectively with much less time being wasted on leads with little or no value.

In Pursuit Of Genuine Business Sales Leads!

December 15th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By Kirsten Plotkin

Newcomers to the internet, who hope to make some quick money, often end up with one or more expensive products before they have given any thought to how they will promote them.

The few, who have done their home work, will realize that to get sales they will first have to advertise. Their priority is to get qualified business sales leads that can turn into actual sales.

Whether you own a business in an office building or you have a website online there are only two critical things any business requires to survive and make money.  They are customers/leads and sales. Everything else is just a means to get one of those two things. If nothing ever happens in your business except customers and sales, you will become a very wealthy person.

Yes, things are different on the internet. Your shop or business is called A Website and the customers are called Prospects or Leads but they are still customers and your income depends on them. So unless you know a way to get some leads, any products you may have already bought will end up in some forgotten folder on your hard drive.

Unlike the real world, where you can put your product in the window to be seen by passersby, A product on the internet does not attract anyone unless you advertise. There are no passersby at your website. Many an inexperienced internet marketer has lost many hundreds of dollars advertising in places like Google Adwords, only to realize months or years later that it is unlikely their ads were ever seen by anyone.

If you are new to the internet you really do need to be careful.  When you look around, you will see temptations everywhere.  You will be drawn to products that look great, sound very exciting, but are unlikely to appeal to prospects who are familiar with the market. That is because they are specifically designed to dazzle the newbies.

But it is not all bad news. If you ask around and learn before you buy, you will discover that there are other options. For example; you can join both free and paid Safe Lists and send your emails to thousands of their members. There are also Traffic Exchanges where you can place a capture page. Then all you have to do is surf the exchanges to earn the credits which will run your ads.

It’s a tough way to get business and it is unlikely you will make a 5 digit income but at least you are learning and gaining experience before you spend your money. You will find people who want to talk to you about keywords, SEO and Adwords. For a newbie this is dangerous territory because to succeed in that bullpen requires an enormous learning curve.

Even when you tell them, few newbies will believe that it is THAT difficult to do something that seems so easy. That’s why so many newcomers spend money they cannot afford to run their ads on Google.  They get caught up in expensive adword campaigns because they hear it is where the big money is. Sadly that is only true for the few who have the knowledge and experience to know how to make it work.  Adwords is not for the feint hearted and it is definitely not for the newbie.

So we come to the heart of the matter…Leads.  You will see many opportunities to buy leads; you might even find offers of free ones. But they rarely if ever live up to their promises. Top quality leads, like genuine business sales leads, are very expensive, and what you get is not always as advertised. Less expensive and yes, even free leads can be found everywhere. Most of them will be as useful as a telephone book filled with email addresses.

No matter how you get your leads, you will be faced with a big question: What are you going to do with them?  If you send out unsolicited emails, using your regular email address, it will be very time consuming, but much worse, it can get you into serious trouble for being a spammer.  You are also likely to be spammed yourself, with thousands of unwanted emails in your inbox.

Auto-responders will not allow you send emails through their system using purchased or free leads. Even leads from people who have already bought from you will be put through the wringer.  Not many past buyers, let alone unknown leads, will survive that process.

The fact is there are many ways to go wrong when you are new to the internet. The so called gurus who make all that money you hear about are not likely to be smarter than you are, but they have one unbeatable advantage. They have had time, often years, to accumulate prospects, thousands of them.  These are prospects who have bought from them before, who trusts them and look forward to their emails.

When these guys get a product, they vet it carefully because it will carry their recommendation.  The wrong product can quickly shorten a treasured list of prospects. All these gurus have to do is send a personal email to their customers recommending the product. In fact, they do not even do that. Their auto-responder takes care of it. It’s that easy.

For you to be like them, means you have to get a customer base, a list of prospects, who know you, trust you and look forward to hearing from you. Impossible?  Not at all. But it takes a little time, it takes having access to the tools that let you do that, and it takes some help from people who are there to teach you how to create your own personal business sales leads. These are also people who will provide you with the tools necessary to do the job.

So yes! It is possible to create your own leads. In fact an endless supply of quality business sales leads. They are the best leads you will ever get because they are from prospects who have already agreed to listen to what you have to say. You will be given access to a complete auto mailing system, which will work no matter how many thousands of leads you end up generating.

To prove to you that they really can get you to where you have always hoped to be, these same people are prepared to accept a token one dollar payment for a two week, ‘access to all areas’ trial of their lead processing system, their unlimited website creator, their easy step video producer, their conference centre and their unlimited hosted websites. But the real advantage you will get from this is a fast learning track to any type of business you want and they will teach you how to turn it into money.

Creating Business Sales Leads for Today’s Entrepreneur

December 15th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By Robert Melillo

The loss of jobs and slowed economy has actually created an upturn in entrepreneurship.  With that comes a demand for business sales leads in a competitive community.  There are many sites available that provide a large offering of leads, but not all are created equal.  Some of the information is old or outdated, leading to dead ends and frustration.

Using qualified business sales leads to find an opportunity that works saves time by leading the horse to water, so to speak.  Entrepreneurs looking for specific types of businesses subscribe to a business sales lead service that matches them up with franchises based upon certain criteria.  This type of service pre-qualifies both the buyer and the seller so that leads are more viable, resulting in faster sales.

Franchises work with the sales lead service to provide detailed information regarding their opportunity.  Specific information regarding the costs involved and business requirements are provided.  The franchise then advertises their listing under their specific category by creating a sales lead generation plan aimed at their target audience.

Potential buyers in turn subscribe to the business sales lead service for a certain number of listings per month.  These buyers are pre-qualified based upon their financial backgrounds and interests.  They are then matched with the franchise opportunities that fit their personal requirements, whether it is a home based business, executive based opportunity, etc.  This ideal situation works well for both entities by enlisting high quality, closeable leads that turn into sales.

By using a prequalified system for business sales leads, the buyer can be assured that they are not being generated from the internet.  The franchise is assured that the buyer has the capital plan in place and is ready to move forward.  Clients are call verified so there is no question in the accuracy of information being provided.  Nationwide searches are conducted so that the criteria can be narrowed by region or city.

Using a service that provides business sales leads is well worth the nominal costs involved in order to partner serious opportunity seekers.  Look into a quality service to find the perfect franchise or franchise broker lead to start on that new path.

Increase Your Profits Using Telemarketing Sale Leads for Hispanic Customers

December 14th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By: Suneva Suneva

Companies around the world are increasing their profits by investing time and effort to introduce their products and services by using telemarketing sales leads for Hispanic customers. The Spanish-speaking population of the world exceeds that of English-speaking countries and their buying power has a significant impact on the global economy.

Businesses that manage advertising campaigns to generate interest in what they produce must have a collection center or information contact center to manage customer requests. This applies to organizations, financial services, banks, technology companies and hotels. These are only a few types of businesses who are increasingly relying on the expertise of call centers. Some of the largest corporations employ call center facilities to manage the flow of the internal communications as well.

Telemarketing sales leads for Hispanic customers provide companies with a direct means of communication with the market place. Surveys developed to increase customer satisfaction are one of the most common uses for telemarketing. A call center operated independently or networked with additional centers for the purpose of telemarketing or can offer a wide range of customer care services.

A simple way to handle your telemarketing activities is by outsourcing them to an independent call center that is integrated into your computer network with the representatives using the protocol is identical to your business.

The most sophisticated call centers are massive operations that dedicated to acquiring and fulfilling telemarketing sales leads for Hispanic customers. The outbound customer care specialist will make phone calls to customers to sell your services and products. The inbound call centers will receive and handle customer information requests mostly through toll free numbers.

There are also tasks associated with telemarketing that can be processed by call centers; brochure or catalog distribution, mail processing, survey evaluations and reports that can be used to troubleshoot production issues or improve service delivery.

Inbound telemarketing call centers are particularly useful in direct response marketing. Special promotions aimed at generating market interest such as sweepstakes are also use to gather consumer information and “up sell” products and services that relate to the promotional item.

Using telemarketing sale leads for Hispanic customers especially with a multi-lingual customer care representative can give you insight on their attitude toward what you have to offer. With the information gathered during the telemarketing process it becomes easier to predict customer behavior and in many cases enable the representative to take action to resolve the issue while the customers are still on the line.

In addition this information helps you to fine-tune your marketing strategies, based on real-time consumer use. By tracking the information from the calls you may discover that a certain aspect of the promotion is confusing your potential customers or that your product is benefiting greatly from word-of-mouth advertising. In fact, many firms use call centers to actively solicit referrals from their current customers by using incentive rewards to build customer loyalty.

Caring for your customers from the initial contact through the sales process and beyond is a major task that needs to be managed with professional care. You can introduce your company to these influential consumers easier today with telemarketing sales leads for Hispanic customers.

The Value of Highly Targeted Sales Leads

December 14th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By Michael J. Kelly

Sales leads for nearly any company in any industry are highly important pieces of how a company will perform. Without good leads, one might never have the opportunity to expand into new territories, grow enough to hire new sales people, or find new avenues of successful operations. It is a vital process to gain sales leads, however it is even more important to ensure those leads are highly targeted in a way that will allow you to weed out wasted phone numbers and email addresses.

The First Step to Targeting Your Leads

The first thing you need to do when you start targeting your sales leads is to create a direct connection between your lead generation and your sales team. Your sales team needs to communicate exactly what you types of leads you are looking for. This can be done by creating criteria that they can follow or a series of questions that can be asked about each lead to weed it down.

Many companies will go so far as to have their sales staff working directly on the leads. However, a better route in this particular situation is to outsource your lead generation to a company that knows exactly what things to look for in a good lead. They will know how to ask questions, what information they need to verify and ultimately what those things translate into when you go to try and capitalize on that lead.

Building on Solid Sales Leads

Once you have acquired a good, targeted set of sales leads, you need to know what you’re going to do with them. This comes into play in multiple fashions. To start, you will need a good process to prioritize leads so that your sales staff knows where to start and how to develop from there. It might take a bit of extra time to figure out how to translate each of the new leads into a viable sales call, but a good script can save you a lot of time. Alternately, outside telemarketing and lead services can help with this, narrowing out bad leads before they ever get to the sales staff.

After you have narrowed down your lists, there are a number of ways to develop a good understanding of what the leads will mean to your business. Look for factors such as the scale of the lead - how big is the business or individual you are dealing with - the long term viability of the lead, and the likelihood that they will pan out.

If you effectively create a system in which you can follow a lead building process for your sales leads and know that your leads will always be the kind that don’t waste yours or your sales staff’s time, you can be sure that when you outsource lead generation or hire on people to grab those leads that you never again need to worry that you’ve wasted excess resources. It may seem a great deal more complicated, but the more thoroughly you put a system like this into place, the better off your lead generation will perform.

Double Your Leads - Use Sales Leads Lists

December 11th, 2009 Posted in B2B sales lead generation, by an author |

By Pierre Lessard

Sales Leads are vital for anyone in business. Sales leads lists offer a fast way to prospect for qualified sales leads. Here are a few things you need to know about sales leads lists, how to use them, how to buy them, how to get the most out of them.

How to use sales leads lists may be the most complicated if you are not experienced at it. There are a few things to consider. First off you will likely be buying sales leads lists in electronic format. That means you will have to get up to speed on how to open, sort, manage and break up the list. Most good sales leads lists providers will offer some free software and a good help section to get you started. Next you have to decide on your method of contact. Will you cold call, email, fax or perform a combination. To be brief we will not get into best approaches but you can use the internet and speak to colleagues to see what works for them.

How to buy Sales Leads Lists. In the end marketing is all about profit. Don’t get hung up on buying perfect lists that cost thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. Instead buy an affordable list that is big enough to still generate solid leads even with a failure rate of 30 to 50 percent. The only exception to this rule is if you will be hard mailing an expensive package out to tens of thousands and a high failure rate would cost you a fortune. If that is the case you need to do the math and see if the difference in costs for the so called “perfect” lists will be justified. Remember that if you are fax broadcasting, phone broadcasting or email broadcasting, failed attempts do not generally cost you a nickel!

How to get the most out of your sales leads lists. Well I said I would not go into great detail on methods but here are a few quick pointers. Try various channels. Cold calling, mailing, faxing, emailing can all be effective. Just make sure to check local laws and spam laws before you do anything. Also any good marketer will tell you that conversion increases dramatically with frequency and context. So do not send just one message and assume the prospect is not interested.

Instead send a steady flow of messages over time. Did you know that research shows you may need to communicate your message up to seven times before getting a sale? Also the more tailored your message can be to each individual, the higher your conversion will be. Things like saying “Dear Bob” instead of “Dear Sir” or mentioning their company name, industry or city they live in can all have a positive impact on conversion and it is less likely to be viewed as spam.
